Lagos Flavors is where authentic Nigerian cooking meets Edmonton hospitality. From jollof rice and suya to fried plantain and slow-simmered soups, every plate we send out of our kitchen at 10514 111 Street NW carries the bold, generous flavours of Lagos into the heart of Queen Mary Park.

How it started

Three chapters, one Nigerian kitchen

01

A passion for authentic Lagos cooking

Lagos Flavors was created to bring an honest taste of Lagos to central Edmonton. We started with a simple idea: cook Nigerian comfort food the way it is made at home, then serve it in a relaxed, modern dining room where everyone feels welcome. For the Nigerian community it tastes like home; for Edmontonians trying West African food for the first time, it is an easy, friendly place to start.

02

A menu built on Nigerian comfort food

Our Jollof Rice, egusi and okra soups and whole grilled fish sit beside favourites like the Lagos Heat-Wave Chicken Burger, the Lagos (Heat-Wave) Chicken Burger and weekend specials worth planning a Saturday around. Every dish is cooked with the peppers, spices and generous portions Nigerian cooking is known for — bold flavour, real value, nothing watered down.

03

More than meals — a place to gather

Family gatherings, birthdays, date nights, office team dinners and cultural celebrations all end up around our tables. Guests come to us from Queen Mary Park, Central McDougall, Downtown Edmonton, Oliver and Westmount for dine-in, takeout and pickup, order online any time, or book us to cater parties and events across the city.

Came here after hearing about Lagos Flavors as one of the top Nigerian spots in the city. It lived up to the hype — bold flavours, great value, and a fun place to introduce friends to Nigerian cuisine.
